The beginner classes safely introduce you to all the standard agility equipment used on a AAC agility course. Then as your dogs becomes more confident we will progress onto teaching you the skills needed to help you enjoy the sport even more. To be able to join us your dog needs to have a basic understanding of obedience commands, sit,stay, down and come. Beginners class are held with the dog on leash and are held in our fenced in outdoor training area , or in the indoor training area. At the present time we are only a small group who's numbers are growing each year. We are open to beginners and more experienced handlers who are just looking to enjoy time with their dogs, there is no pushing you to go into agility trials. We do hold class fun matches so that we can gain experience in all the AAC agility courses and agility games. After the class if your dog still has energy you are welcome to walk the private trails on my land. AT THE PRESENT TIME ALL THE AGILITY CLASSES ARE HELD FREE OF CHARGE. |
